The Mocking Post

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

We’ve Launched. The World Didn’t End—So We’re Making Fun of It Instead.

PHOENIX, AZ — August 1, 2025 — The Mocking Post is live.

If you felt the air shift, the timelines warp, or your inner cynic briefly smirk—no, you’re not hallucinating. That’s just the sound of satire finally stretching its legs again.

Today marks the official launch of The Mocking Post (TMP), a new kind of cultural commentary platform for people who are done pretending this all makes sense. Founded by Foundric, LLC and staffed by a band of editorial voices we call Mockitors, TMP is more than satire. It’s more than news. It’s a digital magazine for modern life—written from the edge of reason and the center of everything weirdly true.

We’re not just here to mock politics (though we absolutely will). We’re here to decode the emotional fine print of society—from silent masculinity to overheard gossip, from viral collapse to moral whiplash. If you’ve ever wondered “Is it me, or is the world actually unhinged?”—good news: it’s not just you. It’s all of us. And we made a home for that.

“The Mocking Post was built for readers who feel like the world makes less sense every time they open a news app or social feed.” said founder Scott Rupp, likely while toggling between group chats, therapy notes, and a freshly canceled subscription.

At Launch, We’re Serving:

  • Dear Doctrine: advice for the ethically conflicted and emotionally bruised
  • Mockademia: college satire with extra credit in existential dread
  • The Mock Locker: high school, low stakes, max drama
  • UnAsked – Satirical interviews with public figures, influencers, and cultural disasters
  • Manalogue: essays on masculinity, repression, identity, and quiet revolutions
  • Hersay: femininity, perception, soft rage, and the power of being half-heard
  • Behind The Mock: editorial reflections on the art of satire and surviving your scroll

With 100+ original pieces already live and new ones dropping daily, The Mocking Post isn’t chasing headlines—we’re diagnosing them. We translate the surreal into something sharper, funnier, and strangely more honest than what you’ll find in most “real” news.

We’re not here to just make you laugh. We’re here to make you feel a little too seen.

And yes—we’ve already got a newsletter. Membership features are on the way. Emotional support not included (but heavily implied).
