In Episode 147 of Max Unfiltered, host Max Clayborn spent the full 43 minutes reading off a personal list of phrases he claims are now “illegal to say” — including “not all men,” “calm down,” “back in my day,” and “I just miss the old energy.”
“I’m not saying them,” Max clarified. “I’m just saying I used to say them, and now I can’t.”

What started as a culture podcast in 2021 has slowly evolved into a weekly lament of things Max is no longer applauded for — like “asking tough questions,” “pushing back,” or “wearing cargo shorts in public.”
Listeners say the show has shifted tone. “It used to be funny,” said one longtime fan. “Now it’s like… if your uncle got a ring light and resentment issues.”
Max blames “the climate,” a vague term he’s never fully defined but mentions in every episode.
According to researcher Florence Factsor, this trend isn’t isolated. “We’re seeing a wave of male content creators converting mild public discomfort into full-scale martyrdom. They call it authenticity. We call it freedom cosplay.”
Max insists he’s not bitter. He’s just documenting the collapse of common sense, one canceled phrase at a time. His Patreon now includes a tier where he whispers controversial opinions into a locked Discord channel.
In a teaser for Episode 148, Max promises to explain why he can no longer talk about breakfast preferences without “woke backlash.”
He does not elaborate.
