1. Do Not Send Us Any Submissions

We respectfully ask that you do not send or attempt to submit any unsolicited material to The Mocking Post, whether via email, postal mail, social media messages, contact forms, comments, or any other channel. This includes direct or indirect methods of delivering ideas or content to any member of our team, staff, affiliates, or contractors.

2. No Review, No Acknowledgement, No Relationship

Any unsolicited submissions received are considered non-confidential and will be deleted, discarded, or ignored at our sole discretion without notice. By submitting unsolicited material to us, you understand and agree that:

  • TMP is under no obligation to acknowledge, review, or respond to the submission;
  • No fiduciary, confidential, or contractual relationship is created by such submission;
  • You waive any claim to compensation, credit, attribution, or legal remedy of any kind.

3. Similarity Is Coincidental

TMP produces a high volume of original and AI-generated content.
We frequently develop stories, headlines, and concepts that may appear similar to ideas others have conceived independently.
If you choose to submit material in violation of this policy, you acknowledge that:

  • Any perceived similarity between your submission and our existing or future content is purely coincidental;
  • TMP retains the right to create, publish, and monetize any content that may resemble unsolicited material without liability.

4. Legal Indemnification

By sending any unsolicited submission despite this policy, you:

  • Agree that you have no claim against TMP, its owners, affiliates, writers, or partners;
  • Release and hold harmless TMP from any and all liability related to the use or non-use of your submission;
  • Accept that your submission does not entitle you to compensation, ownership rights, or legal relief under copyright, contract, tort, or any other theory of law.

5. This Policy Is Binding

This unsolicited submissions policy forms a binding agreement between you and The Mocking Post.
It applies globally, regardless of jurisdiction, and supersedes any conflicting statements made elsewhere. We reserve the right to modify or update this policy at any time without prior notice.

  • IN SHORT:

    Please DO NOT send us ideas. We are so full of it, we can’t keep up.

    If you do, you’re agreeing in advance that we may legally ignore them, and that anything similar we publish was either developed independently or is a coincidence.
