I’m Not Confused — I’m Rebranding Every 90 Days

I’ve been told I change too much. My friends say I have “main character fatigue.” My ex said she never knew who she was dating. To all of them I say: exactly.

If you’re the same person for more than 90 days, are you growing or just stagnating with style? I change to stay emotionally relevant.
We’re living in a time when adaptability isn’t a survival skill — it’s a brand advantage. People rebrand their careers. Their outfits. Their entire belief systems. Why should I be expected to stay consistent when the world changes faster than my serotonin levels?
I’m not confused. I’m iterating.
Last quarter I was meditating before meetings. This quarter I’m doing contrast showers and reading stoicism in Slack channels. That’s not instability. That’s emotional diversification.
When I said I don’t believe in marriage, that was Q1 Lex. Q2 Lex is experimenting with ethical permanence. And don’t even ask what Q3 Lex thinks about open relationships — he’s still being focus grouped.
I don’t fake growth. I prototype it. The version of me you’re talking to right now? That’s 1.7. The full release comes after my next breakup and a four-day trip to Joshua Tree.
We’re all in beta. I’m just the only one shipping updates.
